The study of sociology will allow students to challenge social inequality that exists in today’s society and debate contemporary issues such as racism, sexism and poverty. Sociology is the subject that gives a voice to those who cannot always speak up for themselves and challenges the deep-rooted structural inequality that engulfs our society.
