Dear Parents/Carers of Year 11 Students,
We hope this letter finds you well and that your child is enjoying their time at our school. We would like to share some exciting news regarding the Year 11 Prom, which will be a memorable event for our students.
Prom Details:
Date: 11th July 2024
Venue: Village Hotel, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL7 0LY
Time: 7:00pm
The Year 11 Prom is an eagerly awaited event that allows our students to celebrate their
accomplishments and create lasting memories with their friends. We are looking forward to making
this evening truly special for them.
Eligibility Criteria:
To ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all attendees, we have established certain
eligibility criteria for students who wish to attend the Year 11 Prom: Data will be looked at from Monday 6th November and will include:
• Attendance: Students must have an attendance rate of over 95% throughout the academic year. Regular attendance is crucial for academic success, and we want to reward those who have consistently attended school.
• Behaviour: Students must not have been involved in any serious behaviour incidents. Serious behaviour incidents include but are not limited to, situations that have resulted in suspension, persistent lateness to college, persistent lateness to lessons, and any incidents in the community that have brought the college into disrepute.
We believe that these criteria will ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees, and
we encourage our students to strive for excellence in both attendance and behaviour.
Celebrating Success:
We are excited to celebrate the achievements and hard work of our Year 11 students. We hope that all our students will meet the eligibility criteria and join us for this special evening.
Cost and Payment Details:
The cost of attending the prom will be £25 per student. Payments can be made conveniently
through the ParentPay app. You have the option to make a one-time payment of £25 or two
payments, one £10 and £15. The payment schedule is as follows:
Payment 1: Due by 1st December 2023 £10
Payment 2: Due by 1st February 2023 £15
We understand the financial considerations and have provided this payment flexibility to
accommodate your needs.
Please mark these important dates in your calendar and discuss them with your child. We look
forward to celebrating their accomplishments and creating wonderful memories at the Year 11
Prom.
