LINKS TO CAREERS
Personal Development is preparing our students to have a career in the future, as it includes career education. In the pillar of Aspiration, and across the whole curriculum, pupils are taught the following:

* Families of jobs and what is needed for each,
* Exploration of dream jobs and what is the right career for each individual,
* Different types of employment,
* The laws and rights within employment, including the role of an employer and employee,
* Education post 16 and post 18 and how this prepares you for the world of work,
* How to set goals,
* Academic profiling to prepare for the future,
* How to write a personal statement and CV.
